An Alaska based consulting group dedicated to the proper integration of computer technologies with smart business practices to increase overall company productivity. With roots in a non-profit navy research lab, we believe in honest dialogue with clients on costs and risks of custom software development.
Arctic Consulting was founded because existing computer implementation
projects too often focus on producing software and not enough on how it
will integrate with and change existing business
practices. There is also nothing better than telling a client that they
don't need to spend $300K on a custom business solution when for $20K, what
they have in place already or an off the shelf solution will exactly
fit their needs.

PCI Compliant Credit Card Transaction System
Design, Developed and Certified through PCI compliance a Credit Card Transactional system to integrate with an existing home grown accounting system. Credit Card system processes over $50 Million on an annual basis with $300 Million in overall transactions processed since inception. System included Secure storage of credit cards.
Crowd Surfed Business Intelligence as applied to Fantasy Football.
At the request and personal funding of a local executive, we created a set of crowd surfed routines that build a comprehensive knowlege base of projected player performance for both draft anaylsis and weekly player selections in a fantasy football league. The executive has finished in the top 3 in an extremely competive leaque the last 5 seasons he has used the product.
Refinery Data Acquisition and Fuel Pricing System
Designed Applications and Servers to tie production data from multiple refineries and pricing data from various oil pricing warehouses (OPIS,PLATTS,Dow Jones) into a business intelligence system to allow for executives to make informed business decisions at a glance.
Loading Rack Integration System
Designed Applications and Servers to integrate multple geographically diverse truck racks with an accounting system. Main features include positive authorization of truck drivers via a pin system and certified loading of products per customer. System had to support an occassionally connected network.
